Vermilion Parish School Board Partners with Focus Foods for Home Meal Delivery

Ned Fasullo • Dec 15, 2021

Focus Foods and the Vermilion Parish School Board will now offer meal boxes delivered to the home.

All students attending a school in the Vermilion Parish School District, 18 years of age or younger, are eligible to receive a meal box. Each student must register for the meal box to be delivered to their home.

Each student that registers will receive one (1) meal box per week. Every meal box will contain seven (7) snacks and seven (7) suppers each week under the USDA CACFP Child and Nutrition Program. The meal boxes for home delivery will contain ready to eat shelf-stable snacks, meals, and beverages that do not require refrigeration. The last day for Sunday distribution will be December 19, 2021, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm.
