Five Day Meal Box Offering USDA Child Nutrition Certified Items Now Available.

Louisiana-based Focus Foods is proud to announce the award of a meal services contract & workforce development partnership with Baton Rouge Community College. The company will occupy the kitchen/commissary on the main campus on Florida Blvd., with meal services slated to begin on or before August 1, 2022 for the 2022/2023 school year.

On Wednesday, April 13, 2022, Focus Foods, a Baton Rouge based company partnered with Pastor Barb Simmers of Peace Lutheran Church in Slidell, LA in a community outreach opportunity.

FOCUS FOODS IS on a mission to get the word out. The Baton Rouge-based company is a leading provider of USDA meal solutions for K-12 schools and elder care, as well as emergency/relief meal solutions, but many Louisianians don’t know they exist.

A new outreach effort is underway to convince school board members, superintendents and child nutrition supervisors to take part in federal programs that provide free or discounted snacks and meals for children in Louisiana.
